Our first real Halloween
we didn't get a chance to get out last year, but this year we did. Grandpa Rose got them dinosaur costumes a couple of months ago that now fit perfectly. They weren't very receptive of the costumes at first, so we had to bribe them with "cookies" (Nilla Wafers), but once they got used to them, they liked them quite a bit. They definitely got into the whole knocking-on-doors-and-taking-candy bit. The big hit was the cookies made by our neighbors John and Natilie.
