Zzzzzz....

I now know why new fathers of twins generally don't try to keep up a blog. The night before was a blessing, the boys went two and a half hours inbetween feedings. Last night, however, Logan was fussy for most of the time between midnight and 3am. So, in the interest of taking care of ourselves as much as the boys, this space will be updated on an as-needed basis.

Pediatrician Visit

On another note, today was Logan and Zach's first visit to their pediatrician. According to the doc, everything seems to be where, and as, it should be. We'll be back in two weeks to further torment the boys.

Visitors

Zach and Logan were graced by several visitors this weekend, from far and near. My sister Renee made it down from Port Orchard, WA, and my brother came all the way from across the hallway.

Obligatory cute twins pictures

Now that we're home and can do what we want, and figuring that this would be the easiest time to pose the boys in exactly the way we want, we decided to take a few liberties with pictures:

Old vs. New

There were those that were wondering how the dogs were going to react to the boys (and anyone who's met our dogs most certainly have the right to ask). We took the dogs to a kennel on Thursday before we came home so that the first few days wouldn't be completely chaotic. Zeke and Howie came home on Sunday morning and, after a quick bath, were carefully introduced to Logan and Zach. The good news is that the results were better than we expected. Yes, the pups were very interested, but have calmed down considerably. In fact, this evening we were able to snap these:

The look on Howie's face is priceless! It's like he is screaming to himself... "what is it.. what is it!"

The pictures are great! Thanks for your hard work, Aaron. I know that updating this website takes time, but I continue to love it!
