Everyone's Home!
Robyn got the offical call this morning from the doctor: boys have been feeding well for the previous 2 days, they can stay warm on their own, haven't had a need for an IV or feeding tube since the weekend, and are growing as they should be. It's time for them to come home.
So I got off work a little early, dropped the dogs off at the kennel, picked Robyn up, and made our way to the hospital. We got the final bits of parental education that they offer (no matter how good it could be, it'd never be enough...) and before we knew it we were bringing home two baby boys! To tell the truth, it kinda felt like stealing... I mean, how many people bring home two babies from the hospital?
As I write this, the boys are fast asleep in one of their own cribs. And they'll stay that way until they wake up at midnight to get changed and to eat. And then at 3am... and then at 6 am... and then at 9am... and then... ;)
