So what ARE they anyway?
A lot of people have asked us if the boys are identical or fraternal twins. We were hoping to have an early sign (like one placenta/sac, or different genders or blood types). However, at 20 weeks we found out they were the same gender (so they could be either). At birth, there were 2 placentas (which suggests fraternal), but also have the same blood type (O negative, which suggests identical).
So we're left with a question that can't be answered just yet. In a few months we'll have a genetic test performed to determine what the heck they are. In the meantime, we can have some fun throwing out guesses.

I'm still hoping for identical. My dad and Uncle Edward had great fun playing tricks on teachers, friends, my mom (when she was dating my dad) and even me once!

O negative is my blood type, too - very rare, it will work with anybody; but we can only accept our own type in transfusions, not like O positive. A lucky Omen!
