Saturday

The 4 of us landed at LAX in the early afternoon and, after a trip to In n Out Burger, we headed for Robyn's parents' place in Rancho Palos Verdes. When we got there, and set our stuff down, we looked over some of the photos they had around the house (fortunately, when your dad's a photographer, pictures are always in abundance). I wanted to share this one of Robyn and her brother Chris, which caught my eye:

I wasn't the first to suggest that Chris might need a little extra supervision when he's around our boys...

Sunday - The shower

Robyn and her mom headed down to the beach club on Sunday for the baby shower just after noon. As she was being "showered" with gifts (what's a thesaurus?) I got some work done that I brought with me. Her dad and I did make it down later to snatch up some of the delicious cake and pack up all the new stuff into cars. Robyn and I were so blessed by the love and generosity of the friends and family that we weren't able to pack it all on the flight back!

And, as you might expect, there were a few people with cameras, so I snagged 'em before I left...

Monday - On the road

We took Monday to visit Shelby, Shannon's (Robyn's cousin's) newborn baby girl. Shelby is very cute, and Shannon is very happy. They live in Arcadia, (in which I couldn't find a single arcade), about an hour away from Robyn's folks. Then we headed off to Glendora (with a quick trip to In n Out again) to visit Robyn's grandfather. He's 86 years old, lives on his own, and was in really good spirits. He was very excited to be a great-grandfather.

Tuesday

And, as quickly as we landed, we were taking off again. After yet another quick trip to In n Out (yeah, only 3 times in 4 days... I know... pretty disappointing. My lower intestine wasn't very disappointed though...) we were on the way back to Portland.

I see no problem with the way that I was feeding in the picture, neck/head is supported and the bottle is going in the right hole. That is all there is too it right?
